Starbucks opened stores in Guayaquil and Daule in 2026

In June 2026, Expreso reported that Starbucks planned locations at Mall del Sol in Guayaquil and Riocentro El Dorado in Daule. At that stage, the report described nine Ecuador stores as a projection after planned openings, not a verified current count.
Starbucks later announced that its Mall del Sol store would open on July 16, 2026. Primicias reported the El Dorado store opened on August 20 and was the chain's tenth location in Ecuador at that time.
