Cyber Monday Ecuador Targets Up to $1.6B in June Sales
Ecuador's June Cyber Monday campaign is projected to generate $1.5 billion to $1.6 billion in associated sales from June 8 to 14, 2026.
The campaign is the 25th edition organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Guayaquil and is timed around the start of the World Cup and Father's Day demand.
Sales Projection
| Indicator | Figure |
|---|---|
| Campaign dates | June 8-14, 2026 |
| Edition | 25th |
| Participating companies | More than 30 |
| Expected platform visits | More than 700,000 |
| Projected sales | $1.5B-$1.6B |
| Discounts | Up to 70% |
| Prior December estimate | $1.400B |
| Prior December SRI result | $1.411B |
The prior campaign's estimate and tax-authority result differed by less than 1%, giving the June projection a stronger benchmark than a simple promotional target.
If the campaign reaches $1.6 billion, organizers estimate it would represent 6.2% of all national sales in June and 15% of estimated commercial sales for the month.
Commerce Mix
The event spans technology, fashion, home goods, airlines, health and other categories. Several participating businesses are pairing discounts with free shipping, bank financing, direct credit and extended payment terms.
Smartphones dominate the platform's traffic profile. The last campaign recorded 78.4% of visits and purchases through smartphones, followed by desktop computers at 18.91%.
What to watch
- Whether the June campaign reaches the $1.5B-$1.6B sales range.
- Whether World Cup-related categories such as televisions and travel outperform the broader basket.
- Whether platform traffic exceeds the 700,000-visit target.
- Whether SRI sales data confirms the projected 6.2% share of national monthly sales.
