Ecuador Moves to Eliminate Colombia Security Tariff From June 1

Ecuador's trade dispute with Colombia may enter a de-escalation phase on June 1, 2026.

Primicias reports that President Daniel Noboa said Ecuador will eliminate the security tariff on Colombian imports from June 1.

The tariff had reached 100% after the trade dispute began on January 21, 2026.
