SENAE Seeks $17.2M Palantir Foundry Renewal Through CNT

Ecuador's customs service is moving to extend its Palantir platform use through another public intermediary contract.

Primicias reports that Servicio Nacional de Aduana del Ecuador (SENAE) is seeking a $17.2 million renewal, plus $2.6 million in IVA, for Palantir Foundry, cloud-computing IAAS and connectivity services.

The process again runs through Corporacion Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (CNT), the public entity Primicias identifies as the only authorized channel in Ecuador for access to the platform.

Contract Path

Primicias reports that the first contract covered an annual subscription for customs risk management, implementation, configuration, cloud-computing IAAS solutions and connectivity for SENAE needs.

For 2026, the object is to guarantee continuity of SENAE's critical processes through Palantir Foundry, cloud-computing IAAS and connectivity services.

SENAE's justification report, cited by Primicias, says non-renewal would affect institutional processes, create risks in customs control, limit analysis and intelligence capabilities, compromise use of the public investment already made and produce regression in national management.
